the newest news- i'm coming out of hiding. just for a sec. scared shucksless, but whatevs, right? not sure what the plan is yet but it will likely be just me and a guitar and some new jams and some old jams. geoff and mike are two of my favorite songwriters in the world. geoff played in fuck (best band ever) and mike is an old friend from fresno who used to front a wonderful band called the batteries. valentine's is one of my favorite places to hear music in portland. come if you can. anyone who's ordered a copy of real fun or either of the albums recently know that the packages i am sending out are getting more and more elaborate and stuffed with more and more goodies. i was recently in fresno cleaning out the house i grew up in and salvaged some pretty amazing artifacts which, i imagine, will work their way into future packages. who knows, i may accidentally send you an old book of stamps worth thousands of dollars! real fun book/cd (usa) $27 real fun book/cd (outside the usa) $31 ('real fun' is a book of polaroid photographs that i've taken from a decade of traveling around with indie rock bands, stories about the road written by myself and some of the artists featured, and an 18 track cd featuring EXCLUSIVE music by califone, all smiles, slumber party, stereo total, radar bros, flash hawk parlor ensemble (chris from the decemebrists), jason lytle (grandaddy), preston school of industry, dios (malos), mt. eerie, les georges leningrad, norfolk and western (w/m.ward) and many more. people seem to like it and i bet you will, too.) panty lions' so dang rad cd (usa) $11 panty lions' so dang rad cd (outside the usa) $15 panty lions' do luv cd (usa) $11 panty lions' do luv cd (outside the usa) $15 (please remember that do luv has still not seen a proper release so each of these that i send out is like a little one-of-a-kind art project packaged however i feel like packaging it that day) ok. sorry there is not more to report. ashod.
